TTB Book Club: January 2024

Trust Exercise feels more relevant than ever

I joined BookTok in April 2022 with one goal in mind: I wanted to meet other readers, and hopefully make like-minded friends I could chat about books with. I’m happy to say I’ve made friends over the last year, but even as I gained traction on the platform, I found myself still wanting to really dig into certain books in a way that TikTok just doesn’t allow for. So, I’m finally starting a book club to dive into books I’m obsessed with and that explore adulthood, humanity, and modern culture.

IRL Book Club: Creating community is my main goal. As someone looking to help bring people together and make new friends, hosting my own irl book club felt like the best opportunity to kill a few birds with one stone.

Paid members will have access to discussion posts about the monthly selections, as well as info for the monthly meetings- I’m hoping to have between 10-12 people per meeting, just to make it easier to meet at a public location.

I’m posting this before posting on TikTok, but if there is enough interest in doing an online version of the book club, I’ll move forward from there!
